Post Cap Lights

Outdoor post lights illuminate your outdoor spaces, ensuring safety for vehicles, pedestrians, and others. Proper installation is crucial.

• Choose an Installation Location: Select a location with ample space and suitable lighting coverage on your driveway, garden, or sidewalk.

• Prepare a Base or Pole Mounting Bracket: Ensure the pole is level and stable. For outdoor installations, use concrete or sturdy ground stakes for better support.

• Connect to Power or Choose Solar: Hardwire connections require running cables through the pole; solar connections require no wiring – simply ensure the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight.

• Install the Light Fixture: Place the outdoor pole light on the mounting bracket and secure it with screws or a bracket.

• Connect the Wires (if any): Connect the wires together (black to black, white to white, ground to ground) and tighten the connectors securely.

• Seal for Waterproofing: Seal with waterproof tape or silicone to prevent moisture ingress and improve durability.

• Install the Bulb and Test the Light: Use an LED bulb for optimal efficiency, turn on the power, and check that the light is working properly.

• Complete installation and adjust lighting angle: Ensure the light fixture is placed horizontally, tighten all parts, and adjust the brightness/setting as needed.
